Ferouzz of Budapest, has invented a way of planting hair in the scalp. A man or woman with thinness of hair about the parting can have another four or five hua- died strande set and combed over without och difficulty. It is quite possible that the doctor's enethods might not have been made public had it not been for some little difficulty with the German Patent Office He had patented his process in many countries, hat Germany is very particular as to what it accepts as worthy of being covered by ita patent laws. It, therefore, asked the attendance of Dr Székely Ferenc at Balid to explain things. He sttended, and got his patent all zight, but had to go through a long aross-examination before Germany's leading dermatologista, to whom he gave the following informaation as to his methodu.:---

The scalp is first carefully cleansed, and then annathetised with a solution of novo caine.
