In the annual tournament 'for the Cal- cutta Cup at St. Andrews, Captain Wicker- man (6) defeated Mr F. G. Tulloch (4) after a close contest. The Captain was in the Militia for ten years, and in the York and Lancaster Regiment for two years; he is a ̈ well-known golfer, and last month reached the semi-final in the Jubilee Vase tourca- ment. Mr Tulloch is a son of the late Principal Tulloch.
