st Bangkok of Mr John McClurs. tha Bangkok Tuner of March 27 we learn that it was the result of an accident. Dunlop, Mr. McChuru was walking. in the roadway, between Boatswai and the Sipwny, when an approaching gharry knocked-in-down-and-ran- ovaz him. The gharry driver tried to bolt. but waY RI- Fasted. Mr Dunuipace, who was rolarning from the Slipway by road, found Mr Me- Clure lying insensible, and with assistance Bad him removed. He was placed in gharry to be taken to his home, but when nearly there, we are informed, the Police insisted on his being taken to the Bantawai Police Station. Mr Leonard, who hap poned to be passing, telephoned to Messia Howarth Erskine, Ltd., and Mr O'Har and Dr Pin procvaded to the station. Mr McCluro had a large wound on the temple, and was otherwise injurod... Dr Pin pro nounced life extinct, and the body was removed to the Pulice Hospital to swait a past mortem.
