Babonic plague has again made its ap pearance in Shanghai, says the Shanghai Memury of the 9th inst, and while no cases have been reported in the settlement there has been an alarming outbreak close to the settlement border, in the district known as Chapei. Up to last night (the 8th) no less than fourteen cases had come under the notice of the, Chinese authorities of which tou proved to be fatal.
