The Summer meeting of the South Chins Medical Association was to have beor beld at Cheung Chau (Dumbell Island) on the 27th and 28th July, but owing to typhoon it was delayed until the 28th and 29th. Even then the attendance was considerably hindered since only fiteer out of thirty-seven of the active members were present.

This body is minde up of representatives from nino Protestant missions and three independent medical missionaries. Drs. F. J. Todd, CA. Hayes, and J. A. Hofmann were elected President, Vice-President, and Secretary, respectively. Other ipon-
