Last Monday morning I posted at the Hongkong General Post Office a letter to a lady friend residing in Robinum Road, making an appointment for the following Wednesday.. All Wednesday afternoon I remained at home to await her arrival, but was all in rain. I subsequently learned that up to that time the letter had not renched her, and have just had a chit saying is arrived on Saturday morning! It had thus taken over five days to be enveyed
