INTERPORT CRICKET DINNER.
The Speeches.
In the Shanghai Club on the ad inst. the customary dinner was held in honour of the teams which bare competed in this year's" interport tricket match. A large number of guests were present besides the members of the tesma, and over the gather- ing Mr A. P. Wood, President of the Shanghai Cricket Club, presided.
After the cocara had been removed the usual loyal toast was given, and the Chaiz man prop erd the tomat of "The Teams." In doing so he wished prosperity to the Hongkong Cricket Club. It would be Shanghai's turn
to go to Hongkong next, had they looked forward to the very jolly time that Hongkong always gave them.
