The brkle, who was given away by Colonel W. G. A., Bedford, P.M.O., C.M.,, nindo a charming impression in her gown of white cabroidered chiffon, over white satin. Thebodice was trimmed with silver beading and white silk, sho wore the conventional wreath of range blossoms, and her. wedding veil was of white tulle embroidered round the edges. The only ornament she wore was n gold bar brooch with sapphires and a half moon of diamonds, the gift of the bridegroom.

The bride carried a choice sheaf of white | Easter lilios and maideshair forn, tied with -a-large-white-anti: iww, and she was attended by Miss Etio Harston, Miss Baryl Harston and Ms Katharine Twiss, as bridesmaids. The Rev. O R. Hughes, MLA., R.N., discharged the duties of "best muh." The bridesmaids wore white muslin frocks, sot off with insertion and trimming of Amoy lace and pale blue satin ribbin, and each carried a basket of pale. pink rosen tied with pale blue satin ribbon. They each wore a gold brooch with initials in peazle, these being the gift of the bride groom. The bridesmaids' baskets and tho bride's banquet were inado by Mrs H. P. Tooker

On the fifteenth of the month H. E Choung had before him the serenal men who were responsible for the safety of Fu Chi, the assasinated Tartar General. They amounted to thirty persons in all."
