The Report as printed gave a review of the seven years' work-both the work and the Report having been superistended by Rey. B. R. Walk, The progress shown in
detail at the suren stations was most į out. gratifying. The one exception to this was Victoria, Hongkong, the
effort here among the boat population having thus far failed. An excellant map in the Report | enabled all to follow the details easily. The Treasurer's report showed a large in- crease in subscriptions both from Europeans and Chinese. Every year the enterprize! is enlarged and the need of fanda grows in proportion. The administration in alto- gether voluntary.

The retiring Officers: Committee and Lady Collectors were cordially thanked for their excellent services. The new Com- mittes was elected by ballot as follows:- Dr AD. Bibree,-Mesars A ̈S. D. Cocaland, W. G. Humphreys, Capt. G. B. Mackenzie R., and A. J. Mackie. Those present then became deeply interested in short addresses by the following, the testimonies of fact and experience being frequently applauded: Md Wong Shot Lang. (Evangelist), Mr.O.. Elliott (a frequent and valued helper at the distant Stations) Mey Sopg Luk· (Bible, Womap), Mr Leung Ping Fai (Erangelist), Dr. A. D. Sibres, and Capt G, B, Mackenzie, Tho Chinese "addresses were ably inter frated by Rev H. R. Wella and Me A. J. Mackic. Both Dr. Sibres and Mira Sung showed conclusively that the women were more ignorans than the men, that fow wers able to read, that their attachmont to supersition and idoi worship was very ten- acious and that they were the greatest hindrances to the progress of Christianity. These spankers pleads i for more attention being given to work abong women by wo man. The whole mauting want with great clan and enthusiasm throughout. A
