It is reported at Glasgow that the Scott Shipbuilding Company, Limited, Greenock, have obtained an Admiralty contract for an improved Dreadnought, and that an English firm has, secured the contract for sister abip. A lator message kaye its reported that the former contract is to provide & warship of about 21,000 tons dis- placement, and not loss than 9,000 for

power. The cost will exceed two millions starling. The new Dreadnought will be one of the most formidable and largest of tho battleships in the British Navy,
