BEDFORDSHIRE'S SYMPATHY,

The Secretary of the Admiralty has received the following telegram from the Lord-Licuteannt of Bedfordshire --The

county of Bedford desires to express its deep regret at the accident to H.M.S. Bedford, and ales its sympathy with the zolatives and friends of those whoso lives have been lost. The Lord Lieutenant is anxious for further information. The following reply has been sent:-The Secretary of the Admialty, on behalf of the Lords Commissioners bege to courey their deep appreciation of the sympathetic message from the county of Bedford on the disaster to H. 1. S. Bedford and the lamentable- Ices of life. Any further material information will at once be pab lished in the Press.
