The Cluny Rubber Estates has been registered with a capital of £100,000, in £1 shares, to noquire land known as Oluny Estate, District Tadang, Perak, together with the business of planters of rubber carried on by the. Clany Rubber Estates, Ltd., of Singapore, and about 1,000 acres of Innd adjoining thereto.

Federated Selangor--at the meeting of the Federated (Selangor) Rubber Co., the chairman announced that they were able to

declare a divident of 125 per cent., after having been in existence for only five years. During the past year they had nearly doubled the crop of the previous yoni, having harvestel 101,444 lbs, as against 59,694 ha. The crop for the current year

as estimated at 155,000 lbs.

LONDON RUTIBER EXHIBITION. The Straits Times London correspondent writes: At next year's International Rub- ber Exhibition in London three medals will be presented by the Rubber Growers' Association for the best exhibit of raw rubber. The first prize will be a gold medal, the second a silver medal and the third a bronza medal. The rubber masu- ineturers of Germany have decided to 818 support the exhibition

BUNGEL (BOH KUBBER ESTATE. The report of the Sungei Choh Rubber- Esta e Company, Limited, states that tho expenditure on the estate during the year te December 31 amounted to £8,435, this Bum representing the outlay incurred on upkeep of the whole of the planted ares. (including the erection of new lines) and in crop expenses on 11.240 lbs. of rubber secured from the older clearings. against this expenditure a sum of £4,385 was obtained for proceeds of the above- mentioned rubber, and for seeds and planta old. The average net price obtained for the rubber was the antisfactory uns of 78. d. per [b. As was foregasted in the prospectus, the oldest felds of rubber have now reached: the profit-earning stage, and Ca proft and loss account will be opened as irom January 1, 1910. The crop estimated for the current year is 43,000 lbs. The quantity secured May 31, was 16,780 be, which points to the estimate being eneily obtained, as the number of trees of inpablo sizo in the 1906 clearing is rapidly CO! increasing.
