Friar DIVISION,

The principal feature of the League table in this division is still the respective posi- 3tions of the clubs at the tail end and even the matches of April 9th settled nothing definitely. The relegation of Bolton Wanderers may he regarded as certain as nothing short of a tocil collapse of one or other of the tennis as present occupying lowly positions can save them. The best performanes of the afternoon was that of the Pensioners," who defented Shefield Wednesday at Stamford Bridge by four

miles when the cups of the Ameinograph blow away.

It must be remembered that the telegraphie reporting stations are situated almost entirely on the sea-board and with the exception of a couple of stations on the Yangtze river, the interior of the continent is unrepresented.

Notwithstanding these disadvantages it is believed that the public. has found the maps useful and applications for copies have been received from several persons. Dus as those at present exhibited have to he made by hand, it has not been found possible to meet their wishes, and in the present state of our communications the expense of reproducing the map for distri bution would not be justitied.
