The Austrian emiser, Kaiserin Eliza beth, Capt. Hansa, arrived here on the 12th, and is still hate. They have a very- good band on board, and very generously gave an excellent entertainment at the Amoy Club Theatre on Kalangsa on Tues day evening, when a large audience showed their full appreciation of the splendid pro gramme by encoring nearly everything, so that it was not all over till midnight. The band also performed once again in the Club, on Wednesday afternoon, 16th, this was instead of on the Tonnia Lawn sà the weather turned unpropitious. We Ainoy folks are always grateful for every opport nity of heating good music, since we get

little of it.
