Co. Witness produced a receipt which was handed him by Mr George Hastings last, week. The whole of this doenment except the signature was in witnow's handwriting. The signature was in defendant's hand- writing, and the document testified to the receipt from Mesa Hastings and Hastings of a duplicate partnership agrocent dated January 7th, 1907, mide between defend ant and witams.
