Under the auspicion of the Corinthian Tacht Club the opening cruise of the season Book place at Laichikok on Sunday, the! weather being simply perfect. There was a very_large_attendance and the sovoral `events were all keenly contested so that the racing was thoroughly enjoyed. The two opening races were from the club-house at | Wanchai, the first being open to all classes and all the yachts sook part, bancicapa being allotted according to class. For the greater part of the distance the breeze was very light, but it freshered so the boats passed Stonecutters' Jeland with the result that they finished in a cluster. The winners in the various dissecs were :—
