Haryard boat races h New London, Ct., this year, have re sulted in a victory for the Harvard crews in all three overts. vi, the university eights, the four-cars, and the freshman eights. Sir William and Lady Cazon-Wyllie Mental Fascination, by W. W. dined at the Savoy Hotel and proceeded to the Indian Association's "at home" in the Jahangeir Hall of the Imperial Institute. As the musími programme was finishing Sir William' was descending the staircase' when he was accosted by a student, who fired rapidly four shots at kis head with the muzzle of the revolver close to his face. The fifth shot struck Sir William as he fell

An eye-witness, describing the outrage,
