The following notice is issued from the Hongkong Observatory:-
On the 3rd 11.45 -The barometer has fallon rapidly in N. Japan, the depression lying in neighbourhood of Vladivostok kaving reached Hokkaido.
Pressure has increased moderately on the B. coast of China, and given way slightly on the S. coast. It remains high over N. China, and relatively low over the N. part) of the China Yes.
Gradients are steeper in the South, and strong N.E. winds will continue to prevail in the Formosa Channel and along the northern shores of the China Sea.
Hongkong minfall for the 24 hours end- ing at 10 a.m. to-day, 0.11 inches.
Forecast for the 24 hours ending at noon
FORMUART DISTRICT. L.-Hongkong and Noighbourhood: I.E. winds, strong; squally, rainy.
