The German mail arrived to-day from he North bringing the Shanghai con. tingent for the Races. Casting my sye Over the list of passengers I fad these names, Messrs W. O. Pitic, 0, R. Bartil, T. W. Sutterle, M. Spoolman, R. C. Toeg, Barf, A. A. Brady. G. Magee and J. K. Hutton. Mr Schnorr, who I understand will ride Mr Friesland's ponies, I believa will not be hero till two or three days before the Races.
