We are happy to learn thabla marked improvement in the health of Senhora Rocadas has prevailed on her to deter indefinitely her departure from the Colony, which had been fixed for the 6th inst.

Our gallant Ettla band of amateur artiste from the gunboat Rio Lima, whose creditable efforts have already added substantially to our Stage. Fund, gave another vory enjoyable evening at the theatre D. Pedro V last night. The proceeds of the entertainment are going to relieve the distressed circumstanova of the widow and children of the late Bands- man Sequeira who dropped dead from heart failure at Government House white play- ing at the first official lovee of the Governor.
