On the 30th at 11.40 a.-Tas depression is moving away over the Farific to the E. of Japau, and pressure has increased con- eiderably over S. Japan and Loochoos.
The barometer has fulien poderately over Central and Northern China and the highest pressure is now shown over the Yellow Sea.
Gradients are less steep in the South and the monsoon will probably medurato in the Formosa Channel and the N. part of the China Sea.
