In accordance with instructions received from the Board of Administration in: Peking, Viceroy Chang has formed a new Council Chamber. The following gentle

men have been selected as members of the council:-Tang Wa Roi, formerly goremor of Ngan Whi; Cheng Chan, Fan, the minister of commerce; Imung Shing, for- merly Ambasador to Anierica; Yau Fung Kap: Ng To Yurg; Kong Hung Yan; Ting Yan Cheung; Young Shui; Yik Hok Ching; Ng Ying Young Pun Po Wong; Wong Pe Hoi ; Lo Kwong Ting Hui Ping Yiu; and Yu Kin Fin.

The work of building the Chuen Ko College has just been completed, and the college will be opened after the Chinese New Fear. The work of the college is to train students for government situations, and the course will last seven years. There will be one hundred and eighty students.
