In the Students' Class. the course of study has been two years, and has recently been raised to three. the latter luns prevented him performing his duties during the last few mouths and his place has been temporarily taken by Mr Kwann Tak Yar. Each of those three young masters are old boys,and their work has shown that their interest in their old school has not dogged.

At the begining of the year this school was one of four schools which provided for the needs of the sons of our Christians; the athers being held at Canton, Paktioi, and Shiu-hing. All the boys who entered the College this year had passed through one or other of these schools. When the Rev. A. Bir

was removed by death in August it became impossible to continue that achool, at least temporarily, and wo receivel eight of the boys into the Kowloon School. Their knowledge of Scripture and Bglish shove how faithful and thorough was Mr life work among these little boys during the last months of his life, during which he devoted several hours each day to them.
