A rifle shooting match recently took place at Hankow between H. M.S. 'Thistle and the Hankow British Rifle Association as the Morris Tube rae on board the gunboat. The conditions were 10 shots and I sighter) at targets representing 200 and 500 yards The competition was keenly contested, the tailors winning by 29 pohits. It is worthy of note that the score of Private Beddia at the 200 yards was only one short of the possible; the following are the scoTUS 2--
