SUGGESTED LEAGUE FOR HONGKONG.

There - naggtation, which has our hearty support, forming a Football League amongst the teams at Hongkong, and with the object of forming and 'carry-" ing out an Association Football League mooling is to be held at the Y. M. CA. Building cu Monday orening at 8.30 p.ni, when it is hoped all football enthusirabs will make it convenient to attend.

A Hongkong Association Football L gue would prove neceptable to the players of ho Oude in the Colony: it would produce keener ames and brighter football by tak- ing the place of the present friendly games, and would sustain interest in the Clubs for the whole of the season. Undoubtedly the standard of play would be improved. This and the ensuing increased fitness of the players of the League Clabs would ment a more successful Shield Competition than has obtained in the pit."

We shall be pleased to render what assistance we can in the organization and carrying out of such a league and clḥ desirous of entering the league are at liberty to forward their names to the Sporting litur, thin wall, when they will be forwarded to the prepor quartor,

"While I was doing missionary work In the lower portion of several cities I found it necessary to know a little of the efficacy of a tow medicines and after a while I found that a little knowl- edge of Cutloura was about all I needed. One of the very bad cases I had to den with was that of a young woman who Bad come to us not only broken in spirit but in a mess awful condition physically. Our doctor gramined her and told us that she had scabies (the ket) incipient parsals, rheumatism, etc., brought an from exposure and the Her affects of her ragged-edged life. poor body was mass of cores from Ecratching and she was not able to retsia solid food. We tried incny things, a good tonic was prescribed and bathe with a rubbing of lard and atphur, We worked hard for seven weeks and you car: imagine how discouraged we were when, after all that time, we could ec0 so little improvement. One day I hap pened to see a Cuticura advertisement telling how little baby had been cured of a bad case of sin oruption, and although I had but 97 cents (lour shillings) with me, I bought a cake of Cuticure Soap aut a bottle of Cutiora Resolvent. When I reached home I was ikea child with a new toy, and we bathed cur patient well and gave her & Resolvent. She slept fuli dose of

that night better than she had eince she had been with us and the next day I located the price of a ber of Cuticura Dintment. I am not exaggerating when I say that in exant to look for five weeks this young woman was
