The tide table given below bas been compiled at the Nanties! Almanac Office in London from the result of the aualyels of cbservations taken by means of an au- tomstie tide-recording machine in the Wa tor Polien. Basin at Tim Sha Tsui during the years 1887-8-9,
The sore of the table corresponds with the pero of the soundings in the Admiralty Charts wich has been found to be & fest 3 inches below mean sea level.
To obtain the depth of water the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add ́9 feet 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dook, Aberdeen, add. 10 feat 6 inches to the height given in the table.
