Mr Keir Hardie afled last evening from Tuticorin by the Swadeshi stenmer Lawos for Colombo. On his departure he was entertained at the Cosmopolitan Club. He made a long specchi saying farewell for the present at least to India, and expressing his gratitude for the kindly way in which he had been welcomed and treated in this comtry.
