THE CINEMATOGRAPH. ·
The Cinematographat Woman's Rooms still attracts large crowds. On Saturdny night there was not oven standing room. The chief pictures shown were those! dening with the Life and Passion of Christ, which took an hour and a half to exhibit. The views are of course practically like the noting that is dune at the grunt play at Omoruumagn and which attracts thousands of pilgrims. Comia views wore later shown and altogether these who attended wore enthusiastic in praise of the exhibition. Tonight the rice will be repented, and the Passion play will be put on at n natiuco next Saturday.
FEELING AGAINST JAPAN.
www.
Boycotting the Students.
(From Our Correspondent.)
TIENTSIN, July 2 Recent events are leading to a great renc- tion against the students from Japan and many of those who were sent from here for the express purpose of preparing for official posts will return to find themselves dis- qualified for no other reasons than that they have been there,
Ocial orders aro now being issued for students in intera to go only to Europe, and 1 hear that it is intended not to ereploy the students from Japan. The policy is not a sound one as it will last force the disappointed men to turn again-l the Government, whereas by making then officials their opposition would be tu a great extent crippled and their views altar- ed under the pressure of self-interest.
