Hongkong again received Royalty to-day in the person of His. Imperial Highness Prince Fushimi of Japan. The Prince and stuff arrived by the P. and O. stermor "Devanba" by which they are proceeding to England to return the courtesios of tho Carter Mission.
Shortly after the mail steaner arrived in the Harbour Captain Coleman, A.D.C. and Mr R A. B. Ponsonby, Private Secretary to His Excellency the Governor, proceeded on board, and invited the Prince to stay at Government House during his sojourn in the Colony. The invitation was accepted and the Prince and⋅ staff' landed at Binke Pior at noon.
A guard of honour of 100 mon from the Middlesex Regiment, beaded by the regi mental band, was drawn up on the pier to await his coining and the Prince and party were brought off from the steamer in the Government Isanch "Victoris."
