The flustration that aconın. panied it looked Korean that we began reading the story, but bafere many lines had been read it was apparent there was ■ curious revomblance between it and the story printed in this Magazine is April and May 1901 under the tilo Vagary of Fortune." The tale is a purely Korean one, though not. as Mr Lynch There is one curious clajus, A truo one. euincidence hore. Mr Lynch might pre Fussbly have heard the story from the Korsens direct, but as obance would have it the narrator in the Review made a change in the plot which does not belong to the Korean story, and curiously enough Mr Lynch has unde exactly the same change. It is quite evident that Mr Lynch took the etory from this Magazine, ruhashed it, gave it a name that is quite impossible nording to the Korean phumelio system, and palmed
