Evil Spirits at Yokohama, The Yokohama polios are in a quan dary, according to the Japan Gazelle. They' have found a man bloking a woman'sege, and bruising ber, but feel that they can hardly take sation. It seems that the woman, who was named Shlon, and is the wife of Hidejero Morishims, of No. 1,247, Nakamura-michi, Yokohama, had fallen into a strange condition, and was shut up in a row of her brother's house at No. 1,277, The brother, who is named Jnkiobi Tanaks, naked a "Kompira groja" (a religionist), named Mometare Tau- chiya, topray for the woman. The "gyojs" diagnosed the case as one of "possession by a fox" and said he would oure her. Acoundingly the "goja" visited the pati ont dsily, and his treatment consisted hitting her bad with a sacred gobel,"
