The tide table given below has bean compiled at the Nautical Almanac Office
in London from the result of the analysis
of abservations taken by means of an au
tomatic tide-recording machine in the Wa ter Police Basin at Taim Sha Teai during the years 1887-8-9.
The rare of the table corresponda with the zero of the soundings in the Admiralty Charte which has been found to be 4 feet! 3 inches below menn saa level,
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gango at the Victoria Naval Yard add 9. feet 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 8 inchoa to the height given in the table.
