The estate was left, in 1791, by Mr Thomas Hawkins, a solicitor, to His son Richard, who was so a member of the legal profession, settled at King B Lynn, where most of his family are buried in All Saints churchyard. As to chartering tripwise, business in most directions, it is true, has been without much animation, but, as already mentioned, the season has not sufficiently advanced to allow of any safe prediction.
