HOW I CURE WEAK, PUNY MEN
Give me a man broken down from dissipation, hard work, or worry, from any cause which has sapped his vitality. Let him
follow my advice for three months and I will make him as vigorous in every respect as any man of his age.
I will not promise to make a Hercules of a mah who was nover intended by nature to be strong and sturdy, Even that man can make better than he is; but the man who has been strong and has lost his strength I can make as good as he ever was. I can. give back to any man what he has lost by abuse of the laws of nature.
A man who is nervous, whose brain and body are weak, who sleeps badly; awakes more tired than when he went to bed, who sessily discouraged, inclined to brood over imaginary troubles, who has lost ambition and energy to tackle had problems, lacks the animal electricity which the Dr MoLaughlin Flectric Electro Vigour supplies.
The whole force of vitality in your body is dependent upon your animal electricity. When you lose it in any manner my.. Belt will replace it, and cure you,
It is a beacon light to a man who has become discouraged from useless doctoring,
My Electro Vigour has a wonderful influence upon tired, weak nerves. It braces and invigorates them and stirs up a great
ferde of energy in a man.'
I make the best electrical body appliances in the world, having devoted twenty years to perfecting it. I know my trade, My oures after everything else has failed are my best arguments.
Give me a man with pains in his back, a dull ache in his muscles or joints, 'come and go' pains in his shoulders, chest and side, Sciatica ip his bip, Lumbago: Rheumatism or any ache or pain, and my Electric Vigour will pour the oil of life into his nohing body and drive out every sign of pain. No pain can exist where my Electric Vigour is woru.
There is not a country in the world which has not cares by Dr McLaughlin's Electrio Belt.
Now, what does this mean to you, dost reader 1. If you aro not what you ought to be can you ask any better proof to make? you try it? Is there's remedy which is as simple, as casy to use, ne sure to cure and as cheap as Dr MoLaughlin's Electric Vigour
I have not seen one. You must try it. In justice to yourself and to those who look to you for their future happiness, try it now. At this minute. Such a matter ought not to be delayed.
It is as good for women as for men. Worn while you sleep, it causes no trouble. You feel the gentle, glowing heat from
it constantly, but no sting, no burning, as in old-style baits,
Call to-day, or send for my beautiful book, full of the things a man liken to rand if he wants to be a strong man. I send it

Captain Morris of the British steamer Ban Whatt Soon, which arrived at Singa pore recently from Pontianak, reports that he brought a shipwrecked Malay sailor to Singapore. It appears that he is a native of Tringganu and about August left Pontianak for Singapore in a small native schoonor with all his savings. sperity and growing wealth. Nevertheless,
prudence was always necessary. We had to face a congidorable increase in military expenditure. Lord Kitchener's scheme involved the expenditure of £360,000, and it is expected to provide this from an in- <crease in revenue. The expenditure over
Thibet will also require 54 lakhs.
Mr Brodrick toferred to the establish. ment of a Railway Board, and is also con. sidering the establishment of a Railway Clearing House. He paid a tribute to the railway and irrigation engineers. India had assets for the whole of her expenditure and debt. He thought that the prudent finance which secured this ought to be maintained. Primary education demanded 3 larger expenditure if India is to be made capable of higher work in its manufactures and industrios.
He hoped to relieve the pressure of the work of the Government of India by a new railway scheme and an extra Member of man He hoped to find a Council. thoroughly capable of dealing with the commerce and industry and one who made
a practice of discussing India in no party spirit (1).
Sir Honry Fowler complained of the un- fair treatment of India regarding the Mili- tary Expedition, and protested against any Resident for Lhassa. Ho extolled Lord
Curzon's administration.
Lord Geo. Hamilton rejoiced at the cau- tionary Note pervading Mr Brodrick's statement, and hoped Lord Kitchener would get rid of portions of the Indian Army which were not up to the present requirements. He defended the policy garding the Thibot Mission.

The following table is a chronologically arranged list of mail steamer Coast ports, Manila, und sailings to Europe, America, Canada, and Australia. Japan are not given, for steamers are constantly sailing for those ports. the American steamers call at Japan, and the majority of the Australian boats call at Manila, and, in addition to those vessels, special steamers run there. The departure of every steamer is subject to alteration. The P. & O. mails 1687 usually roach London in about 28 days, and the French and German in about 28 or 30 days.

Sir Mancherjee Bhowungreo maved that the British Exchequer should defray a sub- stantial proportion of the Thibet exponses.
Mr Brodrick, replying, said the charge must rest with India, for the Thibet ques tion concerned Indian trade on the frontier,
in which the general Imperial interests were not involved but for India. Tho Expedi tion would not remain in Lhassa a day after a satisfactory arrangement had been rea- ched, or beyond the period the Military may judge wise. There must be an indem- nity for various acts, but with regard to It terms, wo ask the House to trust us. was not proposed to place a British Resid ont in Thibet, but we are determined to make the British name respected in the
future.
The motion was negatived without a di. vision.
Mr Brodrick said it was impossible tu in- sist upon the further introduction of Indians into the Transvaal, except under the regu lations obtaining at the Cape and Natal. Referring to the tiscal question, he said no settlement aflecting the Empire could be entered into without the Indian interests being consulted in the highest degree. He paid a tribute to Lurd Ampthill, and ox- pressed satisfaction at the tributes paid to Lord Curzon.
