TO PREVENT CROUP,

BEGIN in time. The first symptom is

hoarseness, this is soon followed by a peculiar rough cough, which is easily recog- nized and will never be forgotten by one who has heard it. The time to act is when the child first becomes hoarse. If Cham- berlain's Cough Remedy is freely given, all tendency to croup will soon disappear. Even after the croupy cough has developed, it will prevent the attack. There is no danger in given this remedy as it contains nothing injurious. It always cures and cures quickly. For sale by All Dealers; WATKINS Ltd., General Agents.

The Tide Table given below has been compiled by the Nautical Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an au- tomatic tide-recording machine in the Wa tor Police Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui during

the years 1887-8-9.

The zoro of the table is Low Water Or dinary Spring Tides, which has been found to be 2 feet below mean aea level.

To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Navs! Yard add 5 ft. 7 in., and on the gangs at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 12 ft. 9 in, to the haigl given in the table.
