EUROPEAN BAKERY COM. TPANY ropectfully inform the public

every newspaper correspondent has had to refer to Bovril to make his story complete. Rudyard Kipling and Baden-Powell have written their Bovril stories. Over 500 British hospitals and similar public. in- Istitutions use and prescribe Bovril, not

beef tea, but Bovril.

The reason is not far to seck. Bovril is curnisher as well as a stimulant. It

contains the albumen and fibrine, the that they are now preparing to supply all kinds of Bread, Cakes, Fancy Biscuits, e,, sustaining properties of the beef. It is to their customers both in Hongkong and this fact, together with its absolute purity, Kowloon. Our Braad is made of Gernian that commends Bovril to physcians and yeast and best flour, and is the bost Bread scientists, and proves in practice what it

demonstrates in analysis.

that has ever been tuado in this Colony. Its beautiful taste and smell has no equal.

The work is under European supervision, and people can be insured to have whole- me and well baked Bread as they had home. All our Bread will be stamped BC

The Kniser and his Polish Subjects.

Londoir, September 3.-The Kaiser yesterday entered Poson, his visit to which town had been anticipated in Germany with some apprehension, in view of His Majesty's utterances on the Polish ques- tion. Despito a strong military display, his recoption was friendly.

Replying to the Burgomaster's address of welcome, the-Kaiser made a mild speech, and said that he had ordered the abolition of the Military radius round fortifications in order to permit an over-crowded city to extend its boundaries.

September 4-The Kpiser has reviewed 30,000 troops. Addressing the Governor! of Warsaw, and the officers of the Kaiser's i Russian regiments, who were invited to Poson, the Kaiser referred to the comrade- ship' of arms and truo friendship of the Russian and German Armies. He reiterat- ed the same sentiments when proposing the health of the Tsar, at a banquet in the even- ing,

The difficulty of Poles in accommodating themselves to German conditions of life was due to ini apprehension. The assertion that their religion was endangered was a downright Jie; nor would peculiarities and traditions be extirpated. They could retain these, but must be good Germans.
