The Nordeutscher Lloyd at Bromen has just published a little passphlet containing In 1842 the history of its development. the first steunshi, the Washington, lets Bremen for New York, thereby opening up regular steam communication between the Continent, and the United States, Tan years later the Norddeutscher Lloyd Com. pany was manised, under the mangement of the late Herr Meier.
