The Tide Table given below has been compiled by the Nautical Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an Au tomatic tide-recording machine in the Wa- ter Police Basin at Tam Sax Taui during the years 1887-8-9.
The zero of the table is Low Water Or dinary Spring Tides, which has been found
to he foot below mean sea level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide mugs at the Victoria Navel Yard add 5 ft. 7 in, and on the gange se Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 12 ft. 9 in. to the height viven in the table.
