The zero of the table is Low Water Or- Binary Spring Tidos, which has been found to be 2 feet below mean sea level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gange at the Victoria Naval Yard wild 5 ft. in, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdown, add 13 ft. 9 in. to the height given in the table.
