The Tide Table given below has been compiled by the Nautical Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an sa tomatic tide recording machine in the Wa ter Police Basin at Tim Sha Tsui, during the years 1887-8-9,

The zero of the table is Low Water Or- dinary Spring Tides, which has been found 1 to be 2 feet below mean sea level.

To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Tard add 5 ft. 7 in, ard on the gauge at Lament Dock, Aberdeen, add 13 f in the height given in the table.
