Hongkong Tides.
The Tide Table given bolow has been compiled by the Nautical Almanse Office in London from the results of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automa tio tide recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui during the years 1887-8-9.
The sore of the table is Low Water Or dinsey Spring Tides, which has been found to be 2 feet below mean sea level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gaugo at the Victoria Naval Yard add 5 ft. fin, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 13 ft. 9 in. to the height given in the table.
