The Tide table given below bag boen compiled by the Nautical Almatian Office in Loudon from the results of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automa. tic tide recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Trim She Teul during the youts 1887-8-9.
The zero of the table la Low Water Ora dinary Spring Tides, which has been found to he è fest below mean sea level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide. gange at the Victoria Naval Yard add 5 ft. in and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 15 16 in. to the height given in the table.
