The zero of the table is Low Water Or dinary Spring Tides, which has been found- to be 2 fest below mean bas level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yand add 5 ft. in, and on the gouge at Lamont Dock, Aberdoen, add 19 It. 8 in. to the height given in the table.
