Are we on the verge of another epidemio, and what action is being taken to anticipate it ? this It is a scientific fact that whore an epidemio bas once sceatred it is almost certain to recur within a given number of years. Here in Hongkong the con- ditions favour an early recurrence of the disease. In 1894, it is true the sanitary condition of the town of Vic- toria was probably worse than it is now, but is it even now quite satisfactory?
