of the Chinese Revenue Launch Kwanfang, of a SUBMERGED ROCK, the feast depth of water on which at Low Water Spring Tiias is 11 fect.

The Rock is sitasted on the North side of the Channel, about 750 yards North-west of the N. W. point of the inner entrance of the Lys-E-MOON and about 320 yards from the point of land between CHONG-LUI and 1673 YA-TONU BAYS on the Chinese Shore (Brit, Adra. Chart No. 1,466).

The following bearings were taken from the Rock:-

N. W. extremity of LYE-E-MOON on the

Chineau side, S. 41 E.

KUNG-AM Point on the Hongkong side,

S. 18 E.

CHANNEL ROCKS N. 51° W.

N.B.Vesaule should not pass to the North or Chinesa side of this Rock.

The bearings are magnetic.
