TN view of the fret that the DIFFICULTIES and DASHERS of NAVIGATION at the WocsUse INNER BAR hava heen vary greatly increased by the Neu-observance of Rules intended to facilitate traffic and prevent accidents that were published in Notices to Mariners Nos. 23 and 46 Special), ísquad respectively on the 14th January, 1893, and the 29th November, 1894, 'such" portions of the same as sro applicaulo at the prosent time are repeated below, as a reminder to

all concerned.

The look out enjoined by the above Rule should begin at or outside the Wocsung! Spit Buoy on board of inward bound vessels, and at or above the upper end of Gough Island on beard of outward bound ones,

Captains and Pilots are notified not to attempt to cross the Bar when the signals at the Woosung Station indicats lees water than the vessel is drawing, uuless they have previously obtained information as provided for in the ṛnh- joined note.
