TOTICE is hereby given that the LIGHT on Lao-T-SHAN PROMONTORY WAN In for the first time at sunset On the 7th Instant.
The illuminating apparatus in Revolving Dioptria of the Firm Order, showing duable write flushes at intervals of half a minute.
The Lighthoone stands on the South. western slope of Lao-Tuh-Shan Frompe- tory and the light, which is elevated 3151 feet above the level of the sea, should bi visible in clear weather at a distance of 25 nautical miles, in all directions between the bearings, approximately, of S. & E round by East and North to N. 78" W.. axcept where it is obscured by outlying idlands.
The Bearings are magnetic and from 588- ward.
The Tower is round, of icou, 25 feet high, with a total height from its base to the lantern vane of 52 feat.
The Tower, Dwelldogs, and Boundary Wall are white.
