The Reviero discussun those topics which are uppermost in the Far East and minds of students of the about whith every intelligent person con- neated with China or Japan is desirous of acquiring trustworthy information. It in oludes many interesting Notes and original Papers on the Arts, Sciónces, Ethnology, Foldero, Geography, History, Literature, Mythologs, Nahiral History, Antiquition, and Social Manners and Customs, etc., etc., of China, Japan, Mongolia, Tibet, and the Far East gonerally. Recently a new de- parture has been taken, and the Rerite now gives papere on Trade, Commercs, and Descriptive notes of Travel by well-known writore. It was thought that by extending the scope of the crew in this direction, the Magazine would be mademuro generally useful.
