The Newchwang will show a fired white light, which abould be visible in clear won thor at a distance of 11 nautical miles, and small white light will be exhibited from the furentay at a height of G fact above the rail, to show the direction in which the Temel is heading. Her hull is painted red, with the word Newcuwase in white on each side, and she has three masts, the main carrying a black ball.

During thick or foggy weather a steam fog horn will he amandad at intervals of 10 seconda.
