THE HARBOUR MASTER'S REPORT FOR 1888.

The following report of the Harbour Master for the your 1888 is published in the Gazette for general information -

Hachoir Dupartment, Hongkong, 8th March, 1889. Sir,I have the honour to forward the annual returns for this department for the year ouding Slat Descruber, 1888,

The total trade of Hongkong for the year 1888 is represented by 63,367 votul, measuring 12,096,300 tona. (This is en advance of 174 vessels and 357,702 tons on the average for the previous 3 years, and 350 cassola moro, but 28.039 sans less than in 1887.)
